JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Installing/configuring workstations and software
  • Installing/configuring server and network hardware
  • Troubleshooting technical issues
  • End-user technical support
  • Hardware and software maintenance

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Good knowledge of Windows client (8.1 and up) and server (2012R2 and up) operating systems
  • Good knowledge of PC/Server hardware and networks
  • Basic knowledge of Linux
  • Knowledge of command prompt and scripting
  • Working experience as workstation administrator
  • Language proficiency in English, both written and spoken

BENEFICIAL SKILLS

 

  • Experience with IIS
  • Experience with Virtualbox, Hyper-V, KVM
  • Experience with Azure and Amazon Cloud
  • Experience with Docker and Vagrant
  • Knowledge of Powershell
  • Higher education in IT
