Introducing Axinom Mosaic

At its core, Axinom Mosaic consists of three services: the Identity Service, the Management System, and the Microfrontend Service. On top of this foundation, services can be built and combined to tailor workflows for any use case leveraging Axinom’s base template.

Axinom Mosaic unifies data and workflows across historically separate systems while maintaining flexibility and agility. It is designed to connect with external systems such as loyalty programs, recommendation engines, ad servers, or any other third-party service, ensuring that the data your workflows depend on is always within reach.

Microservices

Axinom Mosaic supports a modular suite of services, each handling a specific function. Services operate independently, enabling teams to develop, deploy, and scale them without affecting the rest of the solution. Communication between services is handled through a message broker, ensuring reliable and decoupled interaction across the platform.

API-First

The API-first principle is core to Axinom Mosaic – every service exposes its functionality through APIs, ensuring consistent and reliable communication between services across the platform.

Microfrontends

Each service comes with its own microfrontend. By integrating independent microfrontends into one Management System, Mosaic ensures a consistent user experience while providing developers with powerful tools to build custom workflows and enhance productivity.

UI/UX Concept

Mosaic comes with a consistent UI/UX concept covering workflows, interaction patterns, and visual style across all services. Once users are familiar with one service, they can navigate any other without additional training.

The same consistency benefits development. Rather than reinventing elements, interfaces, and controls for every new service, developers can rely on a comprehensive library of reusable UI components and patterns. This significantly reduces the time and effort needed to build new services while ensuring they feel native to the Management System from day one.

Legacy systems in aviation are built for one purpose and one purpose only – changing them is slow, costly, and painful. Mosaic takes a different approach: one centralized platform that brings fragmented workflows together, fully tailored to how your operation runs.

Extensible by Design

Building on the Mosaic foundation, additional services utilize Axinom’s base template to be published and integrated seamlessly. The base template comes with reusable backend and frontend libraries, a comprehensive technology stack, and extensive documentation. Custom services are built from a solid starting point rather than from scratch.

Mosaic Agent Skills brings AI-assisted development directly into the workflow. Available as an MCP server, it works with tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to generate production-ready code from simple prompts – automatically following Mosaic conventions and adapting to your project structure. What typically takes hours of careful implementation can be done in minutes, with developers remaining in full control of what gets built and deployed.

Whether the need is to integrate existing systems like loyalty platforms, booking systems, or inventory management, or to build entirely new custom services, Mosaic provides the flexibility to extend the platform in any direction.

User Access Management

Axinom Mosaic’s Identity Service handles authentication and authorization centrally across all services. Users can log in via any OpenID Connect or OAuth 2.0 provider, and a single access token grants access across all services with centrally managed roles and permissions.

Hosting

Mosaic offers flexible hosting to match any operational requirement. Managed services are operated by Axinom under an SLA, while customizable services can either be hosted by Axinom or self-hosted on any container-capable runtime – on-premise or in a cloud of your choice.

Axinom provides 24/7 support to address any issues promptly, alongside tailored training programs, comprehensive documentation, and expert consulting services to ensure long-term success.

Use Cases

Axinom Mosaic is not built for a single purpose. Where legacy systems force airlines to manage each workflow in a separate, purpose-built tool, Mosaic enables a wide range of airline workflows – from content and commerce to fleet and passenger services. The examples here illustrate the breadth of what is possible, but they are far from exhaustive.

What makes Mosaic unique is not any single one of these use cases – it is that all of them can be managed in one place, with shared data, consistent interfaces, and workflows tailored to how your operation runs.
