Achieving a quality unified Wi-Fi experience onboard is no easy feat on a single aircraft, let alone on a whole fleet of different makes and models. On-board connectivity has many moving parts that have to work together to make a quality experience possible.
On one hand, there are the connectivity providers and the varying technology they use. As with technology, there are practical and technical limitations that come with each: connection speed, availability, bandwidth or suitability of running it on a particular aircraft model among others.
